Days after the State Government announced to carry out antigen test of persons with suspected Covid-19 symptoms, a total of 20,000 rapid antigen test kits arrived at the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) here and were sent to all districts and hospitals.
As many as 4,700 antigen test kits have been kept as a reserve at the RMRC. The SCB Medical College Hospital received 1,500 kits and the AHRCC in Cuttack got 500. Other medical college and hospitals received 1,000 kits each.
Ganjam district received 3,000 antigen test kits and Gajapati 500. All the District Headquarters Hospitals got 150 kits each.
