Team formed to probe deaths of 12 people due to intoxicant

In compliance to the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a team comprising Additional Chief Secretary, Home Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Director General of Police S.K. Jha and Deputy Inspector General of Police Sushant Saxena begun an investigation from October 16 on all aspects of the case of 12 people, died due to suspected denatured spirit in Ujjain.

The team made inquiries from the people, visiting and conducted inspection at Chhatri Chowk, Regal Talkies, Kharakua Police station as well as various Ren Baseras.

The Collector Ujjain Ashish Singh and Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh also accompanied the team.
