Kamla Nagar police has booked three miscreants for opening fire at Shabri Nagar after they failed to find two persons on Thursday. Miscreants suspected the two of passing information to the police.
Panic prevailed late in the afternoon in the area when the accused, identified as Lalu Yadav, along with his two aides, opened fired outside Lala Pawar and Rohit Pawar’s house in Shabri Nagar over the issue of passing information to the police.
Both the victim and the accused are habitual criminals. Lala and Rohit are real brothers and have been booked for around half a dozen cases while Yadav is also a habitual criminal.
In the afternoon on Thursday, the three armed accused reached Lala Rohit’s house and when they failed to find them, they opened fire in the air and later threatened them of life and escaped from the spot.
Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police registered a case against the three and started further investigation.
During the investigation, police found that Yadav suspected that Lala and Rohit would fabricate him in a false case and are police informers. He was keeping an eye on the two and on Thursday, he went to their house and later opened fire threatening and creating fear in the area.
The mother of Lala and Rohit, Vandana Pawar, informed the police and reveled the incident. Police have raided several places in search of the accused but they still managed to remain absconding.
