Even as Chhattisgarh battles the Covid-19 pandemic, it will observe the World No Tobacco Day on May 31 to highlight the harmful consequences of tobacco consumption.
The Director Social Welfare has told all District Collectors to observe the day and ensure that awareness is created among the community on how use of tobacco affects health.
The District Collectors have been told to hold publicity and awareness campaign.
While holding the events, all guidelines and advisory related to Covid-19 are to be strictly followed.
