Villagers kill boar; 30-kg meat seized

In another man-animal conflict, a man and his wife were injured in wild boar attack at Barakandha village under Mahakalapada Forest Range in Kendrapada district on Wednesday.

The locals later nabbed the boar and lynched it to death.Following the incident, forest personnel seized 30 kg boar meat which was set to be distributed among villagers, informed Jamboo Foreste Baikunthanath Behera.The injured couple, Santosh Swain(55) and Mamata Swain, were going to agriculture field when a boar attacked them.
