‘Waiting for director to say action’
Actor Rajkummar Rao has shared a couple of childhood photographs of himself and his actress-girlfriend Patralekhaa on Instagram.
“Baal kalakaar @patralekhaa,” he captioned the images.
The actor has been sharing many throwback pictures lately. He recently recalled his ‘Omerta’ days in a throwback photograph he shared on social media.
He also posted that he is missing work and is waiting for his director to say ‘action’.
He currently has a bag full of projects such as Ludo, RoohiAfza, Chhalaang and The White Tiger.
‘I have been fortunate enough to have had a healthy and happy childhood. I realise the importance of my upbringing that has impacted and shaped my value system, my perspective to the world, and also made me the person that I'm today. I'm deeply disturbed knowing how many children of my country don't get the childhood that they deserve.’

Actor Shruti Haasan, daughter of veteran stars Kamal Haasan and Sarika, took to Instagram, where she shared a throwback picture of herself from an underwater photo-shoot.
She also shared a photograph of her face, where she showed her two birthmarks in her eye and urged everyone to celebrate all the things that make them what they are.
“Yes, those are birthmarks in my eye. No it's not some weird reaction, it's not a disease. Yes they get lighter and darker just like freckles. You should celebrate all the things that make you ‘YOU’,” she wrote.
‘Success has not negated racism’
Hollywood actor Idris Elba says his celebrity status does not make him immune to racism.
Elba shared that he was raised with the ideas that he had to be “twice as good as the white man” to succeed in life.
The Pacific Rim star said, “Success has not negated racism for me. Asking me about racism is like asking me about how long I have been breathing.”
“Normally the first time black people have any consciousness around their skin, it is usually about racism. That stays with you regardless of whether you become successful or you beat the system,” Elba added.
