Stating that a generation of  selfless BJP workers have played an “stellar role” in gaining peoples’ support for the party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked people to contribute to a section ‘Kamal Pushp’ in his NaMo app that highlights party members who have worked life-long for the party’s growth across the country.

Modi shared ‘inspiring’ stories about ‘Karyakartas’ from the Jana Sangh days to the present. He tweeted the snippets of the work done by leaders like  Pandit Devendra Shastri from Uttarakhand and S Mallikarjunaiah from Karnataka.

“A freedom fighter from Uttarakhand, Pandit Devendra Shastri ji was a beacon of principled politics all his life...,” said Prime Minister about the BJP  worker from Uttarakhand as  he introduced another worker from Karnataka saying  “Mallikarjunaiah ji toiled all his life through selfless hard work, to popularise BJP in Karnataka. Read to know more about this inspiring BJP worker on Kamal Pushp module of NaMo App#”, he tweeted.

Saying that an exemplary  role played by generations of BJP workers is a key reason behind the party earning people’s support, Prime Minister  urged people to contribute to a section, Kamal Pushp, in his app that features some “inspiring” party members.

“With the blessings of the people, BJP has got the opportunity to serve across several States and at the Centre. A key reason behind this trust of people is the stellar role played by generations of Karyakartas who have devoted their lives to the Party and nation building,” Modi tweeted.

“The NaMo App has a very interesting section known as ‘Kamal Pushp’ that gives you the opportunity to share and know about inspiring Party Karyakartas from the Jana Sangh days to the present, who toiled to popularise our ideology. Do contribute and enrich this section,” he said in his tweets.
