Delhi’s Kushagra Rawat sets a new senior national record on the opening day of the 74th Senior National Aquatic Championships at the Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre on Tuesday. Kushagra bettered Olympian Sajan prakash’s 400m freestyle mark by more than a minute, coming home in 3:53.68.
In another event, Olympian Shrihari Nataraj bettered his own meet record in 100m Backstroke with the timing of 00:55.10. The previous record of 00:55.63 was set by Nataraj in year 2019.
Olympian Sajan Prakash representing Police displayed his supremacy as he made podium finish in 50m butterfly with the timing of 00:24:90.
