‘Faith and the Beloved' full of thrill and mystery

Kochery C Shibu, the bestselling and award-winning author of “Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar” has come up with his new Fiction-Crime Thriller 'Faith and the Beloved'. The story is built using some real-life incidents like the Mumbai serial bomb blast, the attack of 26/11, etc. It captures human bonding and to what extent one is willing to go to protect one's loved ones. The book is a reflection of our society.

The author had the spark of writing from the school hostel days. But subsequently, he joined the National Defence Academy and built a career in the Navy. His love for writing never stopped him from taking up and exploring the creativity in him."Writing has always been a long-cherished dream from my days in school. As a hosteller, I got an opportunity to be nurtured with creativity. I did a lot of writing in the naval career but it was all related to the service as it was very difficult to spare time to pursue fiction writing. It was only after I left the Navy that I was able to dedicate time to write," says Kochery C Shibu.

His book Faith and the Beloved is a Fiction-Crime Thriller. The story is a saga of love and lust, faith and belief and thrilling encounters as the lives of the protagonists take twists and turns in a chain of events over which they seem to have no control.

The book is a well-researched fast pace thriller. Human relationships and bonding become even stronger when tested under the elements of thrill and mystery. It is always the ability of the individual to see and perceive things clearly that will decide their ability to survive. Overall the book is a page-turner and we cannot predict anything that is going to come up next.
