Haryana on Monday recorded 106 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infections in the State to 2,69,836, a health department bulletin said.
With no death taking place during the last 24 hours, the total number of Covid-19 fatalities in the State stood at 3,042, according to the bulletin.
Figures said 23,318 heath workers and frontline workers were vaccinated on Monday. So far, a total of 260,652 people have been vaccinated in the State. The fresh cases include 23 from Gurugram, 14 from Faridabad, 13 from Ambala and 10 from Panchkula districts. The number of active cases in the state are 874, while as many as 2,65,920 people have recovered. The recovery rate in the state is 98.55 percent, it stated.
1 DEATH, 38 FRESH CASES IN CHANDIGARH
One more person succumbed to COVID-19 as 38 fresh positive cases surfaced in Chandigarh on Monday. While the tally stood at 21463, the death toll has reached 350 in the city, according to the Chandigarh Health Department’s evening bulletin. 2.44 lakh samples have so far been tested in the city and a total of 1446 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
