18 IAS officers transferred

The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 18 IAS officers in the late hours of Sunday. New district magistrates were posted in Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar and Gorakhpur. According to the official sources Vijay Kiran Anand was made DM of Gorakhpur while District Magistrate of Aligarh, Chandra Bhushan Singh was shifted in the same capacity to Muzaffarnagar. Selva Kumari J. was made DM of Aligarh while Gorakhpur District Magistrate K Vijayendra Pandian was relieved for Central deputation.

Additional charge of Lucknow Development Authority vice-chairman was withdrawn from Abhishek Prakash, who is also District Magistrate of Lucknow. Municipal Commissioner of Kanpur, Akshay Tripathi will be the new VC of LDA.

Saharanpur Divisional Commissioner, AV Rajamouli, was posted as Food Commissioner in Lucknow.

On his return from Central deputation, Lokesh M was posted as Divisional Commissioner of Saharanpur while Food Commissioner Manish Chauhan was transferred as Secretary, Industrial Development.

Chief Development Officer of Lakhimpur, Arvind Singh, was made vice-chairman of Kanpur Development Authority while, CDO of Varanasi, Madhusudan Nagraj Hoolgy, was posted as VC of Moradabad Development Authority and Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi, Gaurang Rathi, was posted as VC of Aligarh Development Authority.

CDO of Deoria, Shiv Sharanappa, was made Municipal Commissioner of Kanpur while Prem Ranjan Singh was posted as VC of Saharanpur Development Authority and VC of Gorakhpur Development Authority, Arvind Kumar Chauhan, was posted as VC of Prayagraj Development Authority.
