350 people detained for violating lockdown

In the complete lockdown action under section 188 IPC on 350 people who violated section 144 was taken during lockdown which was imposed from Friday 6 pm for 60 hours.

Special checking and patrolling by blockade and barricading at more than 200 places by more than 3000 officers and employees in the district in view of peace and security arrangements in the state capital was done.

From March 20 till date action against 1000 people under section 188 IPC has been taken and around 6000 people have been penalised who are found not wearing face masks in public places.

Using PA system announcements are being made by more than 100 mobile patrolling parties in different areas to follow the guide line of the government for the prevention of corona.

People were made aware regarding wearing masks compulsorily in public places. Follow Corona guideline.

During the  lockdown today action has been taken against 150 persons for roaming outside without necessary work, without mask, and during the complete lockdown. In the above cases, police have found that the people were moving in public places without masks, roaming in vehicles  unnecessarily, illegal selling liquor.

Continuous action has been taken against those violating lockdown and Corona guidelines and these actions would be continued.

Bhopal police  had appealed to citizens to wear the mask compulsorily in public places, to maintain social distancing. Participate in public participation by helping police and administration in prevention of corona infection.
