Bollywood actor Sonu Sood appealed to the citizens to use seat belt, wear helmets and follow traffic rules which was under the ongoing 32nd Traffic Safety Month observed in the state capital.

Sood, who came to Bhopal to attend a private event at Rajiv Gandhi Square and along with the traffic police officials appealed to the citizens for driving safely and encourage others for driving safely by wearing protective gears and following traffic rules.

ADG D.C. Sagar, Bhopal spread awareness using a traffic chariot and appealed to use seat belts, helmets and traffic rules while driving vehicles at various parts of the Bhopal. The commuters at the square were targeted by the vehicle which was used by ADG Sagar.

In the awareness campaign at Sindhi Colony, JP Nagar Tiraha, Retghat, Ratnagiri Tiraha, Indrapuri, Lalghati VIP Road, distribution of pamphlets and stickers related to traffic rules wad done and vehicle drivers were made aware of traffic rules.

Street play were staged at JK Road, Sindhi Colony and citizens were made aware of the traffic rules and was informed about the accidents that occurred while driving the vehicle in violation of traffic rules.

Two-wheel drivers were distributed free helmets on JK Road and were made aware to follow seat belts, helmets and traffic rules while driving vehicles in future. Apart from suggestions and appeals, those found following traffic rules were encouraged to follow the traffic rules by giving them roses by traffic police at Lalghati, Kamla Park, Retghat square, Rajiv Gandhi and Indrapuri.
