Haryana Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma on Sunday said that Ballabhgarh will soon be developed into a smart city.
Development works, including installation of CCTV cameras and street lights on RMC roads, laying of sewerage lines in colonies, providing drinking water in the city and planting of trees on the roadsides are being completed, Mool Chand Sharma while addressing the people after laying the foundation stone for renovation of RMC roads and parks to be constructed at a cost of about `65 lakhs in Sector-2, Faridabad.
Sharma, who is MLA from Ballabhgarh constituency, said that community halls are being constructed in every ward of Ballabhgarh.
He said that once the city has 11 community halls, the poor people of the city will get enough space to conduct social and religious programmes which will not be a burden on their pockets.
The Minister further said that more than 100 km of RMC road has been built in Ballabgarh constituency and new roads are being constructed. The streets are being paved in various wards of the city. More development works will be undertaken in the future as well, he added.
