A 36 year-old businessman and his friend were killed by three persons over a monetary dispute inside a factory in northwest Delhi’s Wazirpur industrial area.
Police said that the businessman’s 35 year-old friend's body was recovered from a Toyota Fortuner car in north Delhi's Timarpur area.
The deceased have been identified as Surender Gupta, who runs a chemical Godown in Bawana, and his friend Amit Goel, both residents of Rohini area. Police said that they have arrested the trio accused.
According to a senior police official, on Thursday, the body of Goel in a Fortuner car was found in the area of Timarpur, while the body of Gupta was found in a factory unit of the accused at Wazirpur Industrial Area, Ashok Vihar.
“Gupta was the relative of one Sandeep Jain, who runs a factory of utensils in the Wazirpur Industrial area. Jain had borrowed Rs 20 lakh from Gupta, who was asking him to return the money. Jain said he did not have money, following which Gupta threatened him of dire consequences,” said the senior police official.
“Jain made a plan and killed the deceased persons along with his workers. The accused used a sickle to kill the victims. The accused have been identified as Sandeep Jain (36), a resident of Rohini, and his workers Sunil (27) and Sanjay (28),” said police.
“Police have also recovered one blood-stained sickle recovered at the instance of the accused,” police said, adding that further investigation is underway.
