City records 48 Covid cases on Thursday, positivity rate stands at 0.07%

Delhi reported 48 Covid-19 cases on Thursday, while the positivity rate stood at 0.07 per cent, according to the city Government's health bulletin.

According to the bulletin, the cumulative case tally stands at 14,38,634 while over 14.13 lakh people have either been discharged or have recovered or migrated out.

The bulletin further stated that a total of 70,533 tests – 48,971 RT-PCR tests and 21,567 rapid antigen tests -- were conducted a day ago, the bulletin said. The death toll stands at 25,085 and the case fatality rate is at 1.74 per cent.

The Government has taken steps to increase the number of hospital beds and accommodate up to 37,000 cases a day and become self-reliant in terms of oxygen supply.
