Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife Sadhna Singh Chouhan celebrated the festival of Karva Chauth at their residence.
Sadhna Singh offered ardhya to the moon after moonrise and as per tradition sought blessings of the moon and husband Chouhan through a sieve. Chouhan offered water to his wife Sadhna Singh to break her fast and later the couple performed pujan as per tradition. Karva Chauth fast is kept for the attainment of a long and trouble-free full life of the husband.Chief Minister Chouhan has extended best wishes on Karva Chauth.
He tweeted, “Love, respect and harmony helps run a family. This spirit facilitates the path of progress of the family by providing satisfaction. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, all of you take a pledge to walk along with your spouse and other family members at every step. This small effort of yours will be the basis of a happy life for your children by providing a positive environment for them”.
