Chief Minister, Hemant Soren has approved the proposal to include nine public services of the Department of Excise and prohibition, two of the Department of Energy and one of the Industries departments under the Jharkhand State Service Delivery Guarantee Act 2011. The name of the designated officer, first appellate authority, second appellate authority and the provision of time limit for them are also mentioned in this proposal.

The products and services of the prohibition department include the acceptance of the license of retail product shop in the mall, renewal of license of retail product store in the mall, acceptance of license of micro brewery, renewal of license of micro brewery, Includes brand registration, brand renewal, MRP casetization, MRP rescheduling or revision and retail wholesale distributorship and manufacturer license for import and export of liquor for holders.

The designated officers of all these services will be the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned district, while the First Appellate Authority will be the Commissioner of Excise and the Second Appellate Authority will be the Secretary of the Department of Excise and Prohibition.

Execution of inquiries and inquiries of investors under the Department of Industries is included under the Jharkhand State Service Delivery Guarantee Act. The designated officer will be the Deputy Director (Investment Promotion), while the First Appellate Authority will be the General Manager, Single Window System and the Second Appellate Authority Director, Industry-cum-Single Window System. The Jharkhand State Service Guarantee Act has been incorporated to approve the map of DG set installation of Energy Department and inspection and permission of DG set installation.

The names of both these services will be designated electrical inspectors, while the first appellate authority will be the preferred electrical inspector and the second appellate authority will be the chief electrical engineer-cum-chief electrical inspector.
