Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to constitute a special investigation team in Bhopal in connection with the untimely death of a girl child. A high-level meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence today in this connection.
Chouhan also sought detailed information from the authorities regarding the death of the victim in the sexual abuse incident in Bhopal. On this occasion, he gave clear instructions that strict action should be taken against the accused in the incident. The entire case should be investigated by the SIT.
Among those who attended the meeting were Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi, Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania, DIG Irshad Wali, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Makarand Deuskar and Director Public Relations Ashutosh Pratap Singh.
