The concluding ceremony of Fire Safety Awareness Week started from April 8 at Bokaro Steel Plant was organized in the premises of BSL's Central Fire Station. The Chief Guest of the program was Executive Director (works) Atanu Bhowmik.
On this occasion, Chief General Manager (Security & Fire Extinguishing Services) Amendra Jha, General Manager (Fire Extinguishing Services) Rajesh Sharma, General Manager (ED Operational Secretariat) NK Behera, General Manager (Fire Fighting Services) Kumar Rajnish, Asst. General Manager (Fire Fighting Services) SN Mishra along with other officers and employees of the Fire Fighting Services Department were present. At the beginning of the program,
Mr. Sharma welcomed the Chief Guest and gave detailed information about various programs carried out.
Addressing the personnel during the program, Chief Guest Bhowmik gave a message to further increase fire prevention inspections and improve housekeeping.
He called for strengthening the system of firefighting equipment and insisted on being equipped with advanced technology for fire prevention keeping in view the current situation.
