The Congress on Wednesday announced that it would kick-start a massive membership drive in the State on November 1 from the State capital.
PCC vice-president in-charge of organisation Jagneswar Babu said AICC observer Dr A Chellakumar is going to launch the party membership drive for 2021-25 at the Congress Bhawan.
Babu further said AICC general secretary and national media in-charge Randeep Singh Surjyawalla, State observer Chellakumar, PCC president Niranjan Patnaik, CLP leader Narasingha Mishra and former PCC president Sarat Pattanaik would visit Mamita Meher's village in Balangir district on Thursday on a fact-findings mission and to console her family.
