On the fifth day of the first Sub Junior Boys Academy National Hockey Championship-2021, various matches were played .
Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre, Olympian Vivek Singh Academy, Raja Karan Hockey Academy and Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy won their respective league matches on
The championship is being organized under the joint aegis of Hockey India and Sports and Youth Welfare Department at Sai Center Village Gora.
In the first match of the day, a match was played between Naval Tata Hockey Academy Jamshedpur and Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Center. In this Odisha Naval Tata Academy defeated Naval Tata Academy Jamshedpur 3-0.
In the second match of the day, Olympian Vivek Singh Hockey Academy defeated Namdhari XI 7-1. In the first and second quarter of the match, Vivek Singh Hockey Academy scored a goal each to take a 2-0 lead. In the third quarter, Namdhari XI scored one and Vivek Singh Academy scored two goals.
Raja Karan Hockey Academy defeated Mumbai School Sports Association 9-1 in the third match of the day.
Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy defeated Mata Sahib Kaur Hockey Academy Jarkhar Ludhiana 6-0 in the fourth and final match of the day.
Gursewak Singh scored three consecutive goals for Roundglass to complete a hat-trick. Himanshu Bansal, Captain Harmanjit Singh and Prince Kumar played an important role in the team's victory while scoring goals.
