: DPMI institute Dehradun on Tuesday organised a National Youth Day programme as part of Swami Vivekanand Birth anniversary celebrations.
Director the institute Narendra Singh called upon the students to excel in every sphere of life. Chief guest Vipin Kainthola spokesman BJP referred to the importance of Indian traditions. He exhorted the youths to follow the life and principles of Swami Vivekananda.
Dr Parul Dixit from DAV College Dehradun also spoke on the life of Swami Vivekananda. Dr Dixit asked the students to bring in positivity in their lives and shun negativity. Dr HM Tripathy spoke about day to day challenges in the lives of youth today.
Large number of students took part in the programme.
