Gandhi Nagar Police recover abducted girls from Lucknow station

Gandhi Nagar police have rescued two minor girls from Lucknow railway station who went missing from Kasturba Gandhi Hostel Godramau Gandhi Nagar on May 22, a reward of `5000 was declared on providing the details of girls by SP North.

Police said that on May 22 Rekha Kapse Warden of Kasturba Gandhi Hostel Godramau Gandhi Nagar informed about the missing of two minor girls from the hostel who were found at Bhopal railway station on May 15 and handed over later on to Kasturba Hostel Godramau Gandhi Nagar. The two while playing at the hostel went missing.

Based on complaint police registered a case under section 363 of the IPC and taking the kidnapping case with seriousness RPF, GRP, Bhopal district were alerted and search was stared through all channels for possible information regarding the minor and on receiving any information, the police station was told to inform Gandhi Nagar. .

A team was formed and  a reward of `5000 was declared by the Superintendent of Police, North Bhopal for the providing details of the kidnapped girls.

All the members of the special investigation team were assigned different tasks in which CCTV footage of all the hotels of the highway, information from the employees of the hotels, railway station were given information of the abducted girls. After checking  CCTV footage about the trains left for various stations from the Bhopal station was taken and the minor girls were informed at all the stations.

During the search for the kidnappers, it was reported that two minor girls have been found at Lucknow Railway Station, after which the police team was sent to Lucknow (UP) and brought girls back.
