Chhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo on Monday made a surprise inspection of Covid vaccination centers in Raipur and gave necessary instructions to the healthcare staff there.
A sudden rush of mostly youths was witnessed at the centers in recent days as the vaccination resumed following a directive of the Chhattisgarh High Court. There were long queues in the APL and BPL vaccination counters but the counters for Antyodaya card holders had few takers. In some centres, all APL and BPL card holders could not be vaccinated due to the number of vaccine doses available.
The Minister turned up to see the condition in some of the centres. He also took feedback from the beneficiaries.
