Extreme hot and humid conditions with partial clouding was witnessed in state capital on Saturday; dense cloud cover appeared and later faded without pouring.
The state and state capital is reeling under extreme hot conditions weather conditions as mercury soared to 43 degree Celsius and along with the soaring mercury 6 cm of rainfall was also reported in the state in the past 24 hours which was the highest.
Sangrauli recorded 6 cm of rainfall while Pushprajgarh and Kusmi 4, Uchehra, Anuppur and Ishagarh 3, Mangwa, Jaithari and Devsar 2, Majhauli, Sarai, Chitrangi, Budhar, Rewa, Channaudi, Mada, Kotma, Rampurbaghelan and Gurh 1 cm.Under the influence of a fresh WD, state would witness impact in the next 3-4 days and thunderstorm with lightening and gusty winds would be witnessed. Khandwa, Khargone, Ratlam recorded day temperature above 43 degree Celsius.
Met department issued warning of thundery activities and gusty winds in Jabalpur, Rewa, Shahdol and Chambal divisions and Chattarpur, Damoh, Sagar, Vidisha, Agar, Shajapur, Guna, Shivpuri, Datia, Betul and Hoshangabad districts.In the next 24 hours state capital would witness day and night temperature at 41 and 25 degree Celsius. Clear sky conditions would be witnessed during day and in the evening partial cloudy conditions would prevail.
