Water conservation campaign launched
Water Conservation Fortnight was started by Lions Club of Hazaribagh Roaring to conserve rain water. The programme was started from Ichak, Vishnugarh, Tati, Jharia, Barkagaon and Daru block. The program was started in Ichak block with an awareness workshop by Lion Rajiv Anand.The construction of trench for rain water conservation was started by Lion Mohammad Ali in Bakaspura Panchayat of Vishnugarh block by making the villagers aware and working by himself. Hazaribagh Roaring is running a special campaign for rain water conservation. In the above program, especially in five blocks, the work of rain water conservation is being done by forming cluster teams. The club is requesting people to join the programme.
