Kaushalacharya Award to ITI BBSR Asst Training Officer

Bhubaneswar: Nibedita Mahapatra, Assistant Training Officer of Govt ITI Bhubaneswar, has been awarded with the Kaushalacharya Award 2021 by the Union Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in a virtual celebration for her exceptional contributions towards the youths’ development and employment. Total 41 faculties from different technical institutions selected across India were felicitated by Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday.

Sahitya Akademi holds poetry recitation event at Paradip 

Paradip: A poetry recitation ceremony was organised here Tuesday by the Odisha Sahitya Akademi to mark the Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav being sponsored by the State Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture. The programme was held at the Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir. While poet Dr Santosh Kumar Samal presided over the function, Paradip College Department of Odia Language and Literature HOD Subash Bishwal was chief guest. Shishu Vidya Mandir Headmaster Manoj Ranjan Sethi, Dr Devadutta Samantaraya, Nagendra Nath Swain and Tulsi Baral were other guests.

IFFCO Paradip undertakes relief in rain-hit areas

Paradip: A team from IFFCO Paradip distributed cooked food, flattened rice, tea packets, sugar, biscuits and other essential commodities to rain-affected people. They visited various old age homes like Maa Santoshi Jarashram, Balijhara, Sai-Rama Jarshram, Dochhaki and Leprosy Colony, Paradip and distributed essential items among inmates. IFFCO Sr Executive Director KJ Patel, Assistant Manager (Administration Prasanna Kumar Beura and Pabitra Biswal coordinated the relief distribution work.
