DIC, BSL meets Birhor children

Director-in-Charge, BSL, Amarendu Prakash, met the Birhor children adopted under the Gyan Jyoti scheme of BSL. During this event, ED (Material Management) VK Pandey, ED (Works) Atanu Bhowmik, ED (P & A) Sameer Swarup, CGM (Finance & Accounts) Suresh Rangani and DGM (CSR) CR K Sudhanshu were present. During the meeting, the director-in-charge presented gifts to the children, as well as took information about the preparation of the examination from the children appearing in the tenth board examination. He encouraged the children to participate in sports and other such activities along with studies and wished them all the best.

In-House trainings at SBPS

The teachers of Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi attended the in-house training sessions on ‘Story telling in Classroom and Creating Story through Story Board’ and ‘Happy Teachers Create Happy Classrooms’ conducted by the Principal, Paramjit Kaur, and Sweta Kumari in the B. K. Birla auditorium on 24th and 25th November 2021 respectively. The teachers were trained about enjoying their work as they are teachers by choice and not by chance. They should radiate happiness and should practice kindness. It laid emphasis on incorporating story telling as an innovational tool to grab the students’ attention in the class and make them learn things in a new way.

Service with Smile at BSL

At Human Resource Development Center of BSL a one day programme was organized called “Service with Smile” for the personnel working in Bokaro General Hospital with the aim of working in different conditions and understanding the condition of internal and external customers and colleagues working in the plant. CGM (HRD) Niranjan Kumar, CMO (Medical and Health Services) Dr. Pankaj Sharma, General Manager (HRD) Neeta Baa along with the personnel of Bokaro General Hospital were present in the inaugural session of the program. Addressing the participants on this occasion, Niranjan Kumar highlighted the importance of the program. Dr. Pankaj Sharma informed about the usefulness of the program. In the first session of the program, Neeta Baa made the participants aware of various aspects of Service with Smile as well as role play. In the second session, the participants were given a tour of the Coke Oven, Blast Furnace, SMS-2 and CCS, CRM-3 departments of the plant so that they can understand the conditions of the plant and provide better service to the workers.

DLSA flags off awareness vehicle

Ranchi District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ranchi flagged off an awareness vehicle in view of the upcoming National Lok Adalat. PLV Satyam Kumar, Baby Sinha, Tara Minj and Munni Devi were present in the said awareness vehicle. These awareness vehicles will go to the National Lok Adalat from on Saturday to Namkum and Angada areas of Ranchi district and make people aware, so that maximum number of cases can be settled in the said Lok Adalat and the parties can get easy justice.

PAS Bokaro holds Board games

The Pentecostal Assembly School encourages its students to be stress free and cheerful even in the toughest of times. To give them a short break after their test ,the school organized a day of  board games for the students of 6 - 9 & 11 in offline mode .This new initiative was taken by Principal, Dr. Karuna Prasad who always motivates the students to be happy and cheerful. Students enjoyed this day with full enthusiasm. They played different types of board games which refreshed their minds .The main ideas of organising these Board games day was to develop team spirit among the students and also to develop them mentally and physically.
