In the Indian Red Cross (IRC) Commissionerate police branch annual general meet on Friday, branch Chairman and Commissioner of Police Sudhansu Sarangi and Vice-Chairman and Additional Commissioner of Police Rekha Lohani felicitated executive committee member Dillip Dashsharma.
During the Phailin cyclone Dashsharma distributed relief to the needy and during the Covid-19 pandemic he organised many blood donation camps and cooperated with the Commissionerate police branch.
Among others, DCP Headquarters Pramod Kumar Patel, Bhubaneswar DCP Uma Shankar Dash and Cuttack DCP Pratik Singh were present. ACP Lalitendu Mohanty coordinated the function.
