Young poet and well-known children's writer Dhirendra Mallick was conferred the "Spiritual and Cultural Award" by the Matilagna Sahitya Sansad, a literary institution in Malkangiri district.
Editor Kishore Chandra Pradhan, Mahadev Satapathy and adviser Durga Prasad Padhi honoured him with the honor.
Mallick regularly writes stories, poems, especially children's literature and publishes them on various social media, newspapers and magazines, and always strives to promote Odia language and literature. He has authored more than 400 poems.
His poems are regularly published in various newspapers and are well-received by readers.
