Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will start ‘Mission Punjab’ from November 20 in the wake of the ensuing State Assembly elections, scheduled to be held early next year.
AAP’s Punjab unit president Bhagwant Mann on Thursday said that AAP has started its preparations vigorously for the polls and as part of this, Kejriwal will visit Moga on November 20.
“In Punjab, AAP is doing a tremendous campaign from city to village and preparing a comprehensive roadmap by holding various meetings, which will later be added to the party's election manifesto,” he said.
Kejriwal will mostly be on a Punjab tour in the next one month and visit several places. As part of the Mission Punjab programme, the Delhi Chief Minister will also visit several villages, where he will listen to the problems of villagers, he added.
