Man booked for raping woman

Kolar police have booked a man for sexually assaulting twice a married woman at Kajlikheda and victim lodged complaint when accused tried to sexually assault her thrice three days ago.

According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Neeraj Jathav by threatening to kill her children at February 5 this year. Based on the complaint police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and started investigation.

The victim came into contact with the accused at a marriage function and later developed friendship over phone. He reached her home when she was alone and raped her threatening her of killing her children.  After few days he again raped her but around three days ago accused again demanded to developed relationship which she opposed.
