No magnetic effect due to vaccination: Collector

Sunday, 13 June 2021 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

Rajnandgaon Collector Taran Prakash Sinha on Saturday urged everyone to vaccinate themselves against Covid-19, scotching as rumours reports that the process had turned a ward corporator into a de facto magnet. A media report on Friday said the body of Rajnandgaon corporator Sunita Fadanwis was attracting metalic particles after vaccination. The  Collector immediately ttold Chief Medical and Health Officer Mithilesh Choudhary to probe the matter. The Collector said in a statement that the medical team said there may be some sticky effect in her body due to sweat and that no magnetism had been generated due to vaccination.  “It is a normal process and has nothing to do with the vaccination. Vaccination is safe," the statement said. "Each and every person should come forward to get the life-saving jab in order to save themselves from the Covid infection,” the Collector said.
