Priyanka prays for speedy  recovery of Yogi, Akhilesh

With Uttar Pradesh reporting 18,021 new COVID-19 cases and 85 deaths on Tuesday, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday held a virtual meeting with party leaders of Uttar Pradesh to discuss the Covid situation in the state.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other party leaders discussed the deteriorating situation of novel coronavirus infection in the state and the Congress general secretary also issued guidelines to be followed while carrying drives to help the people.
She directed the leaders to get prepared to help the victims and their families, especially poor and needy, by extending them food, medicines and other requirements.
She also asked her party leaders and workers to strictly follow the Covid protocol while raising the issue of non-availability of essential medical care facilities to the patients with the government. She asked the government to immediately increase the number of beds for the COVID-19 patients besides ensuring availability of medicines, oxygen and ventilators for the critical patients.
The Congress general secretary also showed her concern over reports of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav besides several other ministers, leaders, bureaucrats also testing positive for COVID-19. She said that both the leaders and all others should take care and that she prayed for their speedy recovery.
