Defence Minister and MP from Lucknow, Rajnath Singh will be visiting his parliamentary constituency for two hours on Tuesday to inspect two new Covid hospitals set up with the help of Defence Research and Design Organisation (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
BJP media in-charge Pravin Garg said that the defence minister will fly to Lucknow airport around 11:30 am from New Delhi and visit the makeshift Covid hospital at the Haj House in Sarojininagar area. The 255-bed hospital has been set up by HAL in collaboration with the UP government. Later, Singh will inspect Atal Bihari Vajpayee Covid hospital set up by DRDO at Awadh Shilp Gram. The DRDO hospital has already become operational while the HAL hospital will start functioning from Tuesday. The defence minister will fly back to New Delhi around 1:30 pm.
