The Regional Science Center organised a visit specially for the teachers. The visit was organised on January 11 and 12.
During the two day visit, teachers explored different educational aspects of science. An exposure visit to the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal was organised for the teachers pursuing Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE, Bhopal).
As a part of their visit teachers were exposed to the different facilities of the Centre viz: Galleries, Science Park, Exhibition of the theme 'A Digital Tribute to the Father of the Nation', 3D Science Film: Little Dolphin etc.
During their visit, two special sessions on the topics 'Use of Technology in Teaching' and 'Use of Astronomy in Classroom' were also organised for the participating teachers. In addition to the above, they were also briefed about the very concept of Teachers' Training on Project Based Learning Approach to #STEAM. Besides these, a special session on 3D Designing and Printing was also organised for the participating teachers. The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal (RSCB) is aimed at popularizing science and technology among the people.
