A two-day online international conference on "Women Entrepreneurship and Empowerment" was organized at Rabindranath Tagore University that concluded here on Wednesday.
The conference was organized by the University's Commerce, Education Faculty, Women Development Cell and IQAC under joint aegis with Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar, Research Foundation of India.On the first day, Deepti Maheshwari, Dean Commerce Faculty, welcomed all the guests and proposed the subject.
RNTU Vice Chancellor Brahmaprakash Pethia, while emphasizing on women empowerment, informed about the works of Women Development Cell established in the university. Professor Roop Kumar Shastri, Vice Chancellor Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar discussed the role of women in the Vedic era.
The "Women Entrepreneur Why" session was addressed by Dr. Saurabh Jain, President Research Foundation of India, and Pooja Sancheti, Deputy Director Professional Development Research Service Sultanate of Oman. Kalyan Chakraborty, international speaker on Women Empowerment in the World and India Anusiya, Sri Lanka highlighted the contribution of women to society. The technical sessions were chaired by Nisha Pandey and co-chaired by S. Veenadhari.
On the second day, addressing the Lisa Bank, Founder Higher Education Training for Teachers Canada, informed about the efforts of women empowerment of the organization. Professor Zenb Ali from Oman on this situation of women in Oman and. Women entrepreneur Seema Mishra threw light on the situation of women in Madhya Pradesh.
