With the aim of promoting Hindi in routine office functioning, Sudarshan Chakra Corps organised 'Hindi Pakhwara' from September 08 to 22, 2021.
Hindi Pakhwara' was also observed by all its offices, formations and units with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The celebrations began with an opening address by Colonel Education of Sudarshan Chakra Corps in formation's Human Resource Development Centre. He emphasised on the importance of use of Hindi as official language. Hindi gains greater importance in Indian Army as soldiers from different states of the country are serving together. In order to propagate and increase the awareness about use of Hindi language, various competitions and activities were also organised during this two weeks long celebrations including an Essay Writing Competition, Debate Competition, Quiz Competition, Poetry Competition and Typing Competition in Hindi language.
The soldiers of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps participated whole heartedly and enthusiastically in all these competitions. Prizes were also given to the winners on Sep 22, 2021 in a commemorative ceremony organised to mark the conclusion of this solemn event.
