In view of changing weather, South Eastern Railway ( SER ) has announced cancelation of several trains. The office of the chief passenger transportation manager ( CPTM) has issued a list of cancelled trains.
Moreover, amidst dense fog and mist, enveloping northern parts of the country, several trains coming to Jharkhand from New Delhi and other destinations have started arriving late. The Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express ( 22857 / 22858) which travels via Tatanagar railway station will remain cancelled from December 6 to February 28. The Hatia-Anand Vihar Express ( 12873 / 12874 ) will remain cancelled from November 30 to February 28. The 18103/18104 Tatanagar-Amritsar Express will remain cancelled from November 29 to February 28. Moreover, the frequency of several trains will be reduced. The 12365/12366 Patna-Ranchi-Patna Express will remain cancelled on every Friday in December , January and February.

Railway authorities said that they were taking necessary steps to help passengers get refunds for cancellation of tickets. " Several passengers who were supposed to catch connecting trains got their tickets cancelled at Tatanagar ," said an official.
" As per our study some places there was fog and in others mist was witnessed early morning affecting visibility. Shallow fog was also witnessed in several areas of Kolhan early in the morning resulting in poor visibility today. Such early morning fog would continue in the next two days," said the official of Meteorological Centre.
