The SOS Children’s Village here organised a programme for children on the occasion of the National Science Day on Sunday.
Around 40 children from eight locations participated by presenting innovative scientific models on environment, water and sanitisation, solar power and clean energy, on scientific laws apart from being part of quiz and debate on science.
BCCST Science College in-charge Sanjib was present and encouraged the children. All children were connected through Zoom meeting with the Regional Science Centre and attended the sessions. Children were motivated and encouraged for the science knowledge and career. All senior tutors, animators and staffs of FS program of SOS were part of the event.
SOS assistant director Sukant Kumar Panda motivated the children and encouraged to have interest and learning for science education.
