Twin Strings Band performs on 3rd day of Vishwarang-21 prog

The evening of day-3 of ‘Vishwarang -2021’ witnessed the amazing musical performance of Twin Strings Band. The members of the band are Sagar, Sahil, Manav and Mohit. Twin Strings is an Indie Boy Band based out of New Delhi. The band is famous for their tasteful renditions as well as for creating original music with a unique perspective.

The audience couldn’t help but sway as the band began their performance with original piece ‘Dhalti Rahe’ followed by Ghungroo, Saiyaan and medley of songs of Lucky Ali. A large number of people gathered to enjoy the band’s performance and made their evening a magical one.

Medical Education Minister of State Vishwas Sarang inaugurated the third day of this Art and Literature fest. Chief Guest Minister Vishwas Sarang passed on good wishes to the Vishwarang team for organising such an astonishing festival. He added that such events should be organised for the youth so that they remain connected with their art and culture. The Children’s Carnival witnessed mind-boggling workshops on painting, kite flying, mask exhibition, colour mixing and others creative art. A large number of students from various schools of city participated in activities like theater workshops, and gave group performances and monologues as well. Charvi Namdev, a student from St Joseph's School, said that she learned pottery and painting here, and made a clay vase and painted it. Harshita of Tagore National School of Drama said that she took a children's workshop here, in which school children played many theater games and enjoyed a lot.

A children’s movie ‘The World of Goopi and Bagha’, directed by Shilpa Ranade and music by Narayan Purushottam, was also screened in a session held today. The story of the movie revolves around the main characters, Goopy and Bagha, who wish to become musicians, are exiled to the forest due to their harsh voices. One day, they meet ghosts who grant them magical powers that help them face all the challenges.

In a live session of the fest, the composer who gave the music to the film 'The world of Goopi and Bagha', Narayan Parshuram was interacted with the students in a workshop. He is best known for his work in films like Sundaram (1999), Jajantaram Mamantaram (2003) and The World of Goopi and Bagha (2013). In another session held on Saturday, parenting coach and the founder of India's fastest growing parenting platform Dr Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi, interviewed Editor-In-Chief, Tinkle Comics Studio, Kuriokos Vaishin on Children's Literature. He said that now children have a number of things to keep them busy but the books have yet not lost their relevance and never will.
