Amid a surge in Covid19 cases in Chhattisgarh, two universities on Wednesday postponed their semester examinations.
Pt Ravishankar Shukla University has till the next order axed the first semester exam. New dates will be declared, an official communication said.
But the examinations for other semesters will be held as scheduled.
Similarly, Registrar Anand Bahadur Shankar of Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication has suspended all the graduation and post-graduation courses semester (July-December) examination till further orders.
The new exam dates will be announced, it said, blaming Covid-19 for the decision.
