Urine of desi cows effective in anti-Covid fight: Pragya

Tuesday, 18 May 2021 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Bhopal Pragya Thakur was on Monday in controversy for her claims that the urine of desi cows could help anyone avoid Covid-19 infection.

Thakur claimed that she herself takes desi cow urine daily and this is the reason, she was not infected by Covid-19 virus and will be safe from the infection in future as well, Thakur said in a function on Sunday.

A video early on Monday went viral in which the Bhopal MP is delivering a lecture in an event and is underlining the importance of cow urine. Cow urine ark (essence) successfully ends infection in the lungs, claimed Thakur.

“I regularly use this cow urine ark. I am in huge trouble (healthwise) but due to this remedy, I am not required to take any medicine for Covid-19,” said the MP urging others to also use this remedy against Covid-19.

She also claimed that urine of only a desi cow is beneficial and this has to be purified 16 times with the help of a cloth before taking it. She also urged one and all to have a desi cow at home. The MP was speaking at the ‘pujan’ of oxygen concentrators being installed at Bairagarh in Bhopal.

Underlining importance of trees in offering oxygen, the MP had announced to plant one crore saplings in the city.

On the issue of netizens including those from Congress party claiming that the MP was missing amid pandemic, Thakur said that punishing the guilty is done by the god. I keep my service works from my bungalow despite being unwell.

Congress party persistently claims that the MP was missing at a time when the city is battling a massive pandemic. The Opposition party had even announced a reward for anyone who offers information about the ‘missing MP’.

After a while, the MP was spotted in public only a couple of days ago when she was distributing sanitisers, masks and medicines among the public in the city.
