Here’s a style guide for your next destination wedding

With endless blue waters, heritage palaces and breathtaking views, India is a blend of exotic and beautiful locations that breathe charm and grandeur to the most special celebration in one’s life.

As fun as destination weddings are, being invited to one requires a lot of planning. Fitting those many looks into a suitcase for a weekend extravaganza can definitely be challenging, given the varied wardrobe choices now available to us.

To make it a tad easier, we have curated some go-to-looks to make sure you’re one of the best dressed, and a stand-out amongst the crowd.

Goa

Goa is a state of mind with a mixed bag of breathtaking sunsets, beautiful resorts, Churches, Portuguese architecture and unpredictable skies.

Effortlessly Bohemian is the way to be shining bright in Goa. One can go for hand-painted floral lehenga by designer Vedika M, Peach bandi-kurta set by Kunal Anil Tanna and a choler and ear piece by Eurumme.

Jaipur

With hints of royalty and an old world charm, grand palace hotels of Jaipur create the most breathtaking backdrops, providing an amazing set up for a royal sangeet or a cocktail party.

Dress up like royalty there. Fuchsia embroidered blouse with printed lehenga paired with organza ruffled cape by Ridhi Mehra, jewellery by Amaris by Prerna Rajpal and Opal soft pouch silver by Lovetobag will make you stand out there.

Udaipur

Envision getting hitched like an imperial around great forts and royal palaces encircled by lakes. Well this is everything you get in the city of lakes —  Udaipur.

Surrounded amidst magnificent views of the lake, the city makes the most picturesque location to have a destination wedding. Stunning palaces, lush green views, surrounded by endless blue lakes all over.

Flaunt those vibrant hues with neo-phulkari bandi kurta set and neo-phulkari sharara set by Sukriti and Aakriti, Maang-tikka and earrings by Amaris by Prerna Rajpal and Gold potli by Lovetobag

Kerala

Kerala is the perfect place for a destination wedding, thanks to its tranquil beaches, beautiful backwaters, and stunning hill stations. Falling and staying in love, is inevitable in this glorious lap of nature.

Embracing tradition and culture there with handcrafted block-printed lehenga by Gulabo Jaipur, Statement choker, haar and head-piece by Joolry by Karishma Mehra and light yellow bandi-kurta set by Kunal Anil Tanna.

Mussoorie

A hidden gem up North of India, Mussoorie boasts a surreal view of the Himalayas at sunset, and shines bright with clear skies at night, making it apt to host the perfect sundowner or an intimate dinner party.

Layer up yourself with White turkish dress with cropped blazer by Zwaan, Salmon crochet waistcoat layered over beige textured tunic by Kunal Anil Tanna and Co-ord crystal embellished classic sets by Roseroom.
