Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday said the ‘Mo Sarkar’ scheme has provided a new model to the State’s administrative system.
While reviewing the status of the scheme, Patnaik advised the Government departments to reach out maximum number of people and asked for regular monitoring.
As of now as many as 31 departments including Finance, Works, Commerce and Transport have been included in the scheme.
He said during the last two decades Odisha has seen major development activities and has set example for other States to follow and Mo Sarkar has set a new trend.
The scheme which started in October 2, 2019 had aimed to change the beahviour of Government officials towards people while transforming the entire administrative system.
Patnaik expressed happiness over grassroots feedback of the scheme and said the administrative officials have become responsive and openhearted.
Similarly, the administrative process has become participatory and to the larger extent ensured peoples participation in implementation of the Government schemes.
It has lead to ensuring an inclusive society and equitable society.
