Indore crime branch has arrested a person involved in online cricket betting on IPL matches who has formed a website for online gambling and has distributed IDs to the customers which was linked to his website.

The Indore crime branch has recovered one laptop 6 mobile phones cash and the details of crores of rupess involved in cricket satta.

Commissioner of police Indore Harinarayan Chari Mishra, additional police commissioner crime Rajesh Hingankar,DCPNimesh Agrawal and Addional DCP Guru Prashad Parashar is keeping vigil on the gambling and online cricket betting.

The crime branch police received an information that in the aerodrome area at 35, Krishna Nagar online cricket betting racket is functional. The crime branch team and police team of aerodrome police station raided at the house where the cricket bookie Narayan Nema of 35, Shrikrihna Nagar Aerodrome was arrested.

The accused accepted that he is involved in online cricket betting racket and also accepted that he use to relay the cricket match 2 balls late than the actual match and hence use to manipulate the customers as one ball is very important in IPL 20 -20 matches.

It is to be noted that the noted cricket bookies of Mhow involved in IPL matches Subhash Goyal alias SubhashMhow(once a history sheeter), Murli, T K alias Umakant, Dinesh Phool, Pavan Agrawal who is sitting in Dubai are noted national level cricket match gamblers who reside in Mhow and also operate from Badhwaha and  Dhamnod and are linked to several big bookies of different cities of India and abroad. It is to be noted that The Pioneer in the year 2010 has published all of their names and after which the Indore police and former SP Satyendra Shukla has arrested all the above cricket betting gamblers and police FIR was registered against all of them in various sections including IT section.

Since then, no action has been taken against these cricket bookies. According to sources these cricket bookies and their relatives are investing crores of rupees in acres of land purchase and also several plot purchasing in various posh colonies of Mhow and Indore.

The newly arrived ASP Mhow Sashikant Kankane told The Pioneer that they are collecting the details of all these cricket bookies of Mhow for future action.
