AAP GOVT’S THREE MONTHS MARKED BY COMPLETE PARALYSIS IN GOVERNANCE

Monday, 20 June 2022 | SUKHBIR | Sangrur

SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday said that AAP government’s three-month period was marked by a complete paralysis in governance coupled with the breakdown of the law and order as well as communal harmony.

SAD president, addressing public gatherings at Pharwahi and Khudi Kalaan besides others places in favour of joint panthic and SAD-BSP candidate Kamaldeep Kaur Rajoana, said that AAP government was destroying Punjab and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was squarely responsible for this.

“First Bhagwant Mann sublet state’s governance to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by allowing the latter to not only summon all officers to Delhi but also do their postings and transfers...This was not all. Bhagwant Mann has allowed State’s resources to be used to conduct AAP’s election campaign in poll bound states like Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat by spending Rs 24 crore on this purpose in month only. Similarly, he is indebting the State further by borrowing Rs 9,000 crore in the last three months but has not spent a single rupee on any infrastructure development,” said Sukhbir.

Asserting that everyone was living in a state of fear due to collapse of the law and order situation, Sukhbir said businessmen were facing extortion calls. He also asserted how the AAP government was failing in providing even essential facilities to the people as Punjab was facing massive power cuts at a time when the paddy transplantation season has started.

Maintaining that Sangrur by-poll would not affect fortunes of any party or the State Government, Sukhbir said that victory of Kamaldeep Rajoana will reunite the families of Sikh detenues who are still in jail even after completion of their sentences, like Balwant Singh Rajoana, Prof Davinderpal Singh Bhullar, and others.
