A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the ICAR-Central Institute Of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR-CIFA) and the Sri Sri University (SSU) here to start a new beginning of collaboration in agricultural science and extension of scientific knowledge from lab to land.
An ICAR-CIFA delegation was headed by its Director Dr Saroj Kumar Swain along with National Professor, ICAR and in-charge- PME Dr Pramod Kumar Sahoo, Principal Scientist and chairman of the Students Issues Committee Dr Mrinal Samanta and Assistant Chief Technical Officer Dr Utkal Laxmi Mohanty.
SSU President Prof Rajita Kulkarni, VVC Prof BR Sharma, Registrar Prof DP Sahoo and the Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Prof S Kumaraswamy and professors of various departments and staff were present while signing the MoU.
Kulkarni said the collaboration would immensely help the students of SSU for their research and training at CIFA and be helpful for a joint research collaboration.
CIFA Director Dr Saroj K Swain informed the dignitaries regarding various cutting edge research activities of the institute.
