A blood donation camp was held at the City College, Ambapua, on Thursday, organised by the college’s NCC wing in association with three (Odisha) Medical College NCC units.
BeMC Deputy Mayor E Vivek Reddy graced the event as the chief guest while Medical NCC Officer Major (Dr) Sourav Tiwari joined the camp as the guest of honor. Principal of the college Dr Anita Kumari Panda chaired.
Reddy in his address emphasised on the social responsibility and values of cadets and advised them to take interest in public works such as blood donation.
Dr Tiwari noted the cadets' interest in donating blood and encouraged them to keep up the spirit. The programme was coordinated by Administrative Officer of the college Dr Manoj Kumar Maharana, while NCC Officer of the college Lieutenant Meghnada Pradhan offered vote of thanks.
